Ashani Alles

Since joining OTF Group , Ashani has led and contributed to engagements with a range of clients and has  expertise in strategy development, market analysis, and finding innovative solutions to issues facing public, donor, multi-lateral, private and civic organizations.

Among others, Ashani conducted a study to identify and prioritize the building of feeder roads that would best link farmers to market; identified opportunities on how best to invest to help low-income women and the very poor of Rwanda to improve access to literacy, access to finance and extension services.  She has also advised the First Lady of Rwanda’s foundation to develop a medium-term strategic plan.  She also worked in Nigeria where OTF Group had partnered to identify agricultural products with the most potential for Bayelsa State, and in the Republic of Congo to develop a national ICT penetration strategy.  She  has collaborated with a wide variety of private and public sector organizations and projects to evaluate their progress, set new targets and revise their strategic plans. 

Ashani is bilingual in French and English, has a JD from the California Western School of Law and a BA from the Seattle Pacific University.
